Designed for elite performance, the Hurricane Cat 5 women’s wetsuit utilizes a host of advanced features to deliver optimum stability, top speed and fuel efficiency in the water.

The first one standing? The world’s largest manufacture of triathlon wetsuits: Yamamoto neoprene. Specially used for triathletes who are elite level swimmers, Yamamoto is used to greatly reduce restrictions on the body, creating the feeling of a second skin. With a combination of comfort and unhindered mobility, Yamamoto maximizes both speed and control in the water.

TYR Sport believes that having the best combination starts with having the best manufacture. As a result, every Hurricane Cat 5 is built with Yamamoto 44 cell neoprene. In addition, the Nano Super Composite Skin (SCS) coating process is used alongside manufacturing to improve comfort and freedom of movement. With both hydrophobic and hydrophilic properties, SCS repels water, provides high heat retention to reduce body fatigue, and provides incredible durability to prevent abrasions and increase product life. Rather than a standard seam construction, each Cat 5 also uses Speed Wrap panels to hug and hold you comfortably.

Each HCAFF6A suit also includes quick-release ankles, an innovative antimicrobial liner and a range of state-of-the-art motion zones.
